Young striker Nguyen Thanh Nhan officially joins Vietnam's preliminary squad for the FIFA Days March 2026 gathering.
According to an announcement from the PVF Youth Football Training Center, Thanh Nhan, a player developed from this academy, has been called up to the national team for the upcoming international match preparation camp. The training center also sent a message to the young striker: "We wish the young man who grew up at PVF to fulfill his duties well in the national team jersey."
Nguyen Thanh Nhan is currently playing for PVF-CAND Club in V.League 1 2025/26 and is considered one of Vietnam football's standout young strikers in recent years. He began attracting attention in the 2022 season when first included by Phố Hiến's coaching staff in the National First Division roster. In his first season with the senior team, Thanh Nhan scored 10 goals in 20 appearances.
This striker's impressive form continued in the 2023 season. Despite missing the early stage due to injury, Thanh Nhan still made his mark by scoring 2 goals in the 2023 National Cup, helping PVF-CAND reach the semifinals for the first time in history before losing to Dong A Thanh Hoa. In the First Division, he added 10 goals in 11 appearances. Across the 2023/24 and 2024/25 First Division seasons, Thanh Nhan totaled 9 goals in 33 appearances.
